Yeah I have been down that road before, I have come to the conclusion that it is not a specific boost level, but a power level when it does it. 21 psi on the dyno, compared to 17 psi under heavy load on the track. I am going to o-ring this time.

You mean before or after the k-member? Kind of tight to squeeze 5" above k-member

thanks for the info, what was your trap @ 6200ish rpm? seems your rpm's are way up there for the mph?

driving on the street, what is the max boost you see, and when do you see it?

It has always been about the power level. I wonder if you can get a set of those gaskets or o-rings like they use in canada, I believe. A "pyramid " style head gasket or o-ring setup I think it is called? I had my old heads o-ringed and it helped out alot, but it eventually pushed water as well. How much timing are you at. It seems like 15-16deg. seemed to help out alot as well.
18 and over mine started to push water sooner.

155mph, I have a boost controller, I adjust the boost all the time, as little as 8 as much as 21, full boost by 4000 or so.

I am going to be looking into orings this week. 21-24* on E85 and it was perfect for a long time, until we ran in cooler air, and 17 psi.
It pushed before at 12* on 93 and 118 cocktail. It always seems to be right around the 1000 hp level on this setup with the L92's.

Here is some photos from Friday....
This one if for the nay sayers, that a 3.0 gear wont work, 1.33 60 ft. 8 psi of boost on launch at 3500 rpm.

Very nice man!! I have been following your build and you only keep impressing me.

have you thought about trying the L19 head studs? pricey but may be an option as well. I have a buddy with them and he is running patriot heads making 1000 to the ground with no head lifting. I'm pulling for you to figure out the head lifting problems since i am running the L92 heads as well

congrats again

Check with VINCE, he is goin bottom eight at 170mph and has a 4 bolt head setup. From what I understand he had very minimal head gasket issues?
