Default incon pros, in here please.

lets pretend you could get ahold of the incon manifolds

Would you be able to fab up a decent turbo kit from these parts ?

I know parts of the turbos are custom, any real custom parts that could not be built? Any information on how to find the turbos, if you don't even have the chra's?

what else is needed for the HOT side of the system, other than manifolds, oil lines/scavenge pump, and turbos?

That's a real slippery slope.

There are also cast pieces like diffusers after the turbo's. Also, you forgot the water lines.

It would be way too much money. What are you planning to do for the rubber air lines? I don't think hard ones would work. Intercooler(s) is(are) an expensive item(s).

I'm assuming you're not asking this hypothetically? How much can you get the manifolds for?....And from who?

this is hypothetical question. trying to see if it would be worth looking into casting copies of the manifolds.

Y2K_WS6_T/A, what kind of ballpark are you looking at?

The CHRAs are not really a problem, they range from $400 (dealer cost) each to well over $2000 each. Garrett does not make specific compressor or exhuast housing for these turbos. Compressor housing and exhaust housing are not an issue. Compressor housing are a T03B housing machined to fit, exhaust housing are T25 housing machined to fit. Both of the housing can be had by quite a few places, I got compressor housing from Limit Engineering in Arizona. Compressor housing are $350 each, I would assume exhaust housing would be the same. So that leaves silicon hoses which could and should be replaced with aluminum tubes and shorter runs of hoses. Intercoolers could be had from Lingenfelter no problem, they can also do CHRAs, compressor and exhaust housings. Hoses for oil and coolant, etc can be made no problem. So that leaves the "butt" pipe, dump tubes, exhaust manifolds. You could probably get lingenfelter to make these, they have switched to welded dump tubes, and headers. Down pipes before the y-pipe could be made by a good exhuast shop. I used a flowmaster y-pipe (did not get one with the kit) and then a hooker catback (modified to fit). You still have tons of little things like actuators, fittings, actuator brackets (don't fit right to start with), etc, etc. I figure to do it right Incon should have charged about $7k, you would probably end spending that much or more to do the kit.

I got CHRAs for $450 each from ADP in Washington, compressor housing for $350 each, plus turbo bolts, j-rings, r-ings, o-rings, etc,etc from Limit Engineering. I modified the actuator brackets were to fit for correct oiling, along with the silicon hoses. Replaced the tilton pump with a weldon. I did totally different oiling system than the stock setup.

I did the install on jack stands by myself, along with the transmission and cromoly k-member so I remember all the painful details.
