Everyone knows you can't go fast with that optispark hanging off the front of there.![The Jester](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_jest.gif)
Looks nice. The trouble that you guys had with the block, could you PM me as to the actual problem? A buddy of mine has an LSX block that has been out more than in due to some weird issues. Thanks.

As far as the reinforcement... Shawn made a Billet steel Main cap support system unlike any others. The MCSS should eliminate the lower end moving around that plague the LSx block. The block has also been filled. When we took the motor apart the cylinders looked good, the mains looked bad.

a few questions.
1) is the 106 capable of producing enough air to support 200+ mph at your raceweight?
2) are there any other singles running close to 200 mph?
3) why the big/beautiful/sweet intake when there are so many other turbo guys running cast intakes?
4) does #3 have anything to do with #1? lol!

1) yes,we went 191 and had alot left in the turbo+we should have about 200 more hp at the same tuneup as last year-so 200 will not be an issue.
2)Powski went 198 went a 101 last year,guy with a white mustang(can't remember his name)went 200+ with a single 114
3)just because people do it don't make it right, the cast intakes with the elbow have bad airflow dist problems, this intake has been designed to eliminate that
4)not really-just trying to go fast, and the intake will allow us to tune more aggressively and not be on the edge
it think they went 193

That was something I was thinking....
Powski did go a very impressive 198 on a 101mm with alittle more weight. With the better intake and the EFI it should pick up a couple HP. I thought precision said the 101 was good to 2100hp while the 106 was good to 2600hp. I guess most guys use twin GT47-88s because its what everyone runs. Hasn't Kolivas has been 4.6s@163 on a single and at that power it should trap 45-50 out the back door.

That's the guy,Kolivas.i think he went a 7.20 or so at 205 or something.
The 101 is rated at 2100 while the 106 is rated at 2400.4788's are rated at 1400 each,i have seen 2500 with mine on the dyno,so i know they can make at least 2700 on a small block.
