3) why the big/beautiful/sweet intake when there are so many other turbo guys running cast intakes?
4) does #3 have anything to do with #1? lol!
1)Yes... even at 3430lbs
2)Yes... 202.80 actually with truck manifolds
3)That is a sweet intake! But our cast ones work ok.

Hey Phil, Thats a nice piece and 200mph shoudn't be a problem. 6's is a going to take the work and is what where working on now. Not actually going 6's for us but getting the power down like you said. Hope to see you at a race this year showing people what little LSx motors can do.

Congrats on breaking the 200mph barrier....What turbo are you guys running and how much boost did you throw at it go to 202.80?

Thanks. We run billet 106's I actually didn't mean to run it but Kurt thinks the cool morning air caused me to run over my gate. It ran 34psi with a very safe tune in it. I ran it later without changing a thing and it ran on the gate at 30psi and went 198mph. Still with a fat tune.
This was on my TA with truck manifolds, cathedral port heads and a Victor Jr intake. Haven't ran the fast Camaro motor that high yet. Like I said I don't think you'll have a problem cracking 200.

So, what's the limit with truck manifolds?

That kinda confirms what I was thinking all along, not many people are really pushing the envelope just yet. I've heard some of the SBC guys running upwards of 40psi. What was your 1/8 to 1/4 breakdown.

What kind of C02 pressure does it take to run 30psi and what WG spring pressure? I ran a 5# spring and 25# of co2 was 25psi.

We aint that high tech around here. Im just running off boost thru BS3 controlled regulators. My small one hasn't shown up yet to add the third stage. So it runs off the gate till the regulator opens and jumps to 30psi. With this turbo it runs at 22psi on the gate. But need to lower that now...
I was working on getting the car to leave without shaking the tires. It only went 8.10 I'll have to get the slip but know it went 151mph in the 1/8.

So if it runs 22psi on the gate, how do you get it to leave?

Converter is tight as hell. With the high side 2step rpm it will only go to 6psi on the brake most of the time. But ramps in fast!

Hasn't Kolivas has been 4.6s@163 on a single and at that power it should trap 45-50 out the back door.
You are correct Phil I saw John's car 4.79@160 last time i was in memphis....
Its a Mod Motor now right???

Snapped this Pic..

Congrats Mike on breaking 200 MPH.

This is going to be a fun YR.

Phil, whens the 1st outing so Shawn and I can come up.

Now that's what I'll call some determination!!!

When you want it bad enough you'll find a way make it happen.
