Lingenfelter 2 step issue
If the problem is happening with no external connections to the LNC other than the coil pack connection points then the things we recommend checking are:
- What type of spark plugs are using using? With most vehicle electronics, our module included, you have to run resistor type spark plugs.
- What type of spark plug wires are you using? The wires need to be noise supression type wires. We have had some problems with some of the low resistance type aftermarket wires that do not offer good noise suppression. Easy test - put the stock wires back on.
- LNC wire routing and mounting location. Make sure the wires don't follow along or get near the high voltage side of the coils and the spark plug wires. Try routing the wires a different way and/or mounting the LNC in a different location. The wire to/from the LNC is the major concern and less so the LNC itself.
I hope this helps.
