Questions for APS and Procharger guys
As for the intake tubes that is simple fix. Get 3 inch oval exhaust tubing and put small section into inlet hoses. Or buy the upgraded ones but they are fairly pricey. I think they should be free to original owners but whatever the original kit was pretty cheap at 5500 US shipped.
The sway bars as said easy to make spacers and shorten endlinks. And pretty easy to cut tubes and put in silicone couplers where the bars would hit. Bit of pain but most kits are hardly perfect. STS had lots of problems with their kits and many other companies on this board took peoples money and gave them no kit nothing. And many kits fit horrible ,didn't keep air, required lots of relocation of stuff, had really bad ground clearance, etc.etc. I lost 2000 to gmr speed before my aps kit. Others lost piles of money to various companies. At least aps shipped a kit and its generally nice. You do have to mod up the car though and its not plug and play. But guess being old hot rodder am used cut and do things to your car to install it though . Install was pretty heavy duty. Glad had skilled helpers.
Buy what you want .The kit can do some good numbers. Several guys on here have gone fast with them already..9s in the 1/4 from one guy and several guys have put pretty good miles on them.
I am mostly using it as a base to build on. Can swap out to bigger carts if want since LG is building them and other company making custom BB carts it looks like too.
Can fix the minor issues. Not running a front sway bar is not even the end of the world but do like my handling too so will fix it up.
I will be stenting my inlets soon too or getting the upgraded inlets. Or stenting the upgraded inlets for extra piece of mind.
