Mahle -9cc dished pistons with valve reliefs... running 15psi and approximately 650RWHP. It's seen a couple dozen dyno pulls and a few hundred miles of street driving (with some pulls to red line in 3rd and 4th), and no issues yet.

My wisecos do slap some for about first 5 minutes . I guess I can live with that. Have them also in my 97 talon but been awhile since drove it and forget if its also noisy for awhile when started. But heck lots of ls1 slap when started and when warmed up so not that big a deal to me. At least have strong pistons not factory hypercrap.

I also likely have them put in a bit looser than they could have been in lower hp builds.I told my builder I would be running about 1000rwhp max with combinations of spray and boost. So he had to take that into account.

I'm running a set of JE forged side relief pistons. They are -5cc. Planning on going with a set of -22cc and increase boost.
