Default Headers for 454 lsx w/f2 procharger

Im going with some headers with 2inch primaries but i have 2 options for the collectors! 3" or 3.5", im wondering is there any benefit to goin wit the 3.5" with 3.5" duals? or should 3" be enuff? it will be a somewhat street drivin car...

are you using a standard off the shelf ls rod? i ask this b/c i am wondering about the compression height of a 454 lsx with that much cylinder pressure

Im not really sure yet as i have just about everything other then the engine! I may end up goin with a 427 instead, BUT i am shootin for over 1k on pump gas and NO expense will be spared on the engine so... I will probly be ordering from Vengance, whatever they think it needs it will get

go with a set of 2" ARH. We just had them custom make us a set for our 8 second C6Z06

But what about the collectors? and the exhaust itself? this is goin in a 95 impala ss btw! that vette is badass

2" with 3.5" collectors should be sufficient. Since nobody makes 2" LT headers for my car I had a set of 2 1/8" LTs into 3.5" collectors hand made then coated. You could run 3" collectors at 1K rwhp but if you ever want to crank the f2 up (which you will, guaranteed), 3.5" will be much less restrictive at those levels.

They make a 3.5 collector with them? Where are you located? Im sure someone could fabricate the exhuast for you.

thank you!!! how much did it cost to have your headers made?and to frans96ss i am in georgia! BRPhotrods makes the headers and mounts for the swap into my car

lol and i think you should put some headers with a 3.5 collector on the vette and lmk how she does!!!

No prob. Custom headers will break the bank... With coating I've got $2K in mine.

ok yea i can get mine with 2" primaries and a 3.5 collector for under 800! lol ill just stick with those

yes it is! and im a big man with a big car! lol and im ignorant, id rather have what i need to make more power then i want then to be maxing stuff out to get the results i want!!!
