Timing and boost
Right now the engine is running quite good, making about 6psi of boost. Under full boost I am running between 15-16 degress of timing, which from what I have read is enough for a stock motor.
I am wondering if some msd 6010 users, or anyone for that matter, could chime in and see if my non-boosted portion of the table looks ok. I think I could give it some more timing in a NA range, but I am unsure if a drastic drop in timing right when you start making boost would be counter productive.
Here is the graphs of what the msd 6010 is doing. From what I understand, the 6010 takes the point where the engine is on both graphs and adds those numbers together to get your degrees of advance. so for ex., if I was making 6psi of boost (map advance table = 0 deg) at 4000rpm (rpm advance table =~15 deg) I would have about 15 degrees of timing advance.
For those who have not used the msd 6010, you can't have negative map values, so you have to offset the rpm table and map table to compensate

any help/input would be great!
anyone with boosted 6010's post your timing tables!
