im remember reading about ur build..came out sick man...was it a kit of custom fab? being that i already have the set up in the rear i would like to keep it there, but do you have an idea as to how much i would be looking at to move it to the front i alrady have wastegate, turbo and bov...i would just need new piping FMIC and of course the fab work.

to be honest idk.lol
the kit has been sold and building a new one....
yes it was a custom kit at the time.....but i believe he was working on gettin them on the shelf and ready to ship.
and as far as moving everything up front i dont believe it would set you back too much cash... most shop are pretty fair on labor, atleast he was.

I have the APS kit on my car. I love it! Installed it myself (Aug-Sept 2007), only had the exhaust fabbed and a tune put on the car. Drove it to our track rental last year, made 8 passes, and drove home with the A/C on. I boosted the car at 89k and am over 107k now. Almost at 108k. I am pretty sure I have the most mileage on an APS kit here. And for some reason have been lucky with mine so far. No turbo issues. I found some loose bolts here and there this spring when I checked everything over, but can't complain. For the most part, I just get in and drive the thing. It will be going to NY this weekend when I go visit family. Still gets 24mpg on the highway and that is better than my truck so I take the car. Plus it's a lot more fun to drive!

I am on a stock engine with 7psi. Only upgraded pushrods and valvesprings (LS6 springs) and of course fuel system. I am pushing 620hp at the crank so I know I am near the limits of the stock pistons and rods but have a good tune, so all is still well. And this is all on premium pump gas. Usually 93 octane. It's tuned for a worst case of 91 octane depending what I find when on a roadtrip.

If it's on street tires, what do you expect? I have 538rwhp on tap and have only run a best of 12.3 @ 126. I should be low 11's but can't launch hard. My best 60' is a 2.2. Stock 10-bolt dictates I keep street tires as my fuse until I can beef up the rearend. It is what it is. I built it to be a fun DD and that it is! It runs whatever it runs in the 1/4. I am not out to set any records, just have fun with the car. And that I do. I am always out at carshows and cruises and my carclub's track rentals.

Best of all I have scared the crap out of numerous passengers that actually told me to stop. And I was only in 3rd gear with them. It is hilarious when a 250lb man is screaming like a girl in the passenger seat. That tells me I did good with my build.

I bought a TC78 and I'm keeping the essentials from my STS and putting it all in the KYTP kit. I'm redoing the entire set up, new motor, swapping to an auto (th400) and hopefully a 12 bolt with 2.75's

I'm selling all of the stock drivetrain parts from motor to rear end

You'd be surprised what I paid for the conversion to front mount from KYTP, shoot him a pm. I bought the hot and cold side
