It's a screw blower (true compressor, not savage) so it will put a lot more air than a 8.71 And they way this thing is driven internally, I don't have to "spin it" near as high as other blowers. It's very hot at the dunes, and cars run around WFO for hours at a time, so this will be a big plus for reliability. The 3.3L blowers would get so freakin' hot that touching the case would burn you... But I was driving then (the blowers) between 16,000 & 18,000 RPM so that had something to do with it... With this, I can turn it slower, make more power and not heat up the air/water intercooler so fast... On paper everything looks good. But "the real world" will be the "true" test.

No, but Marine engines yes, It would be cool to run two 3.3 units like on the boats. We have a 41' Skater here that has twin 1500hp BBCs with two 3.3l's on each engine.
