I have a brand new MP t70 with .96 housing NEVER mounted or anything.

$500.
Was going to use on my BMW/5.3 car but i am using a Garrett t70 at the moment...

I guess I worded that wrong. The VGT turbo essentially has a variable A/R ratio. Therefore depending on whether the vanes default to an open or closed position, the turbo would have a very large A/R or a very small one. Probably not the best for performance.

The Holset VNT turbos are much easier to retrofit to control the variable A/R, and much fewer pieces (less stuff to break).

I would look into a bullseye turbo. They are a good cheap turbo. They have one that could get you to 900rwhp. I think its a 80mm S480. As far as diesel turbos go, thats what it is, but they are cheap new. Made by borg warner. Holsets are good, and don't have weird flanges, not sure what you guys are thinking there. T3 T4 are pretty common flanges. HX55 is only good for like 650 flywheel hp I believe and no bigger than a 5.3, but probubly better for a 4.8.
