maf to sd step by step what do I have to do?

Hey guys, I have a 02 camaro built ls2 317's with a d1sc at 15-16lbs right now its making 659 rwhp tuned rich through the maf but I think its maxed out. I want to convert it to a sd setup, I already have the hp tuners software. and Id like to see atleast 700+rwhp

any suggestions you gus have would be greatly appreciated

Are you going much higher than 15psi? if so then get 3 bar sensor most need an adapter to work with stock connector. If you want to stay 2bar you are borderline then you can get sensors think that plug in directly.

Remove maf physcially or unplug it turn it off whatever you want.. flash the speed density os setup into your ecu. There are fairly complete instructions on hptuners help contained in the program.

You fail the maf by setting it to zero and you set maf codes no mil light but not to no error or it won't go into speed density.

Its fairly easy really the part about converting. Tuning can be a bit challenging though.

thanks man, I'm a newbie to all this tuning stuff so it will take me a little time.
I am also having trouble making changes to the tune when the car is running

ya 2 bar is only good for 15pounds so get the 3 bar call up speedinc they have everything you need and isnt too much money direct plug an play

You can't make many changes with the car running unless you get the real time tuning option which they don't have for 3 bar yet. So its pretty much tweak and flash tweak and flash.

ok thanks for the heads up. I thought about maybe piggy backing a ms2 and selling the hp tuners... what do you guys think of that idea. I know some guys either love or hate mega squirt. I did see parish with the twin turbo blue chevy pickup had awesome results with it though.
