Default TurboTech T60-1 numbers

Just got back from dynotuning my car. Here is the dynosheet (Mustang Dyno):

470RWHP @ 5400RPM
459RWTQ @ 5200RPM

Reason for the wierd torque curve is because the stock 4L60E wouldn't hold, or could be the converter (vigilante 3200). Don't know why. Seems to follow the HP curve. The converter was unlocked. The dyno operator plotted the dyno drum speed (bronze line) vs. vehicle speed (green line) and you can see that the green line isn't exactly flat.

Boost is set @ 10lbs with the Turbotech T60-1 kit. Nothing was modified.

I have ported CNC 5.7 heads, Thunder Racing 224 .561 114 LSA cam, forged internals, and this is through full exhaust (gutted cat, and dynomax bullet muffler turndown.) Compression with the thicker cometic head gaskets is around 9:1.

I'm also running dual walboro intanks, LS1 Speed Inc fuel rails/filter/FPR, and 42# SVO's.

I'm getting an FLP Level IV tranny before I step up to a T76.

I estimate that I should make 500RWHP @13lbs boost with the converter locked and a new tranny in order.

What gasket did you use to get the comp that low? Nice numbers though very impressive.

them gaskets are think, any reason why you didnt drop the CR by way of the pistons since you had them forged.

I didn't think I would break 425rwhp to tell you the truth. You can see the grey line, goes all the way down to .68v on Lambda, which is way rich (10:1 AF ratio). So there should be a little more power left on the table there. This is a really safe tune. The Lambda graph peaked @ .80v (11.8 AF). And just gradually got richer as the RPMs go up. Thanks dude. I'm glad every thing worked out ok. How is your car coming along?

well, the motor got done before I bought this kit off of gogogadgetcar. He was selling the kit really really cheap and I couldn't pass it up. I would've had some dished pistons put in if I knew for certain I was going FI.

Thanks for the congrats man.

I will certainly get the T76 upgrade from TurboTech next year (hopefully they will still offer it when I'm ready). This will be after the FLP tranny upgrade though. The stock one is slipping all over the place. Boost comes up really quick though. Thanks for the compliments.

Stay tuned next year........

When I talked to turbo tech they said the 60-1 should support 500rwhp so i guess that this proves them right. I`m very happy to see this kit putting down some good numbers finaly with the 60-1. Gives the rest of us little turbo guys hope.
