I am not sure how you thought my info wasn't helpful. I told you I made around 9psi with a 4.2" and the SDCE set up. I also said that the 4.2" pulley is the biggest pulley that SDCE sends out with there setups. I also said that I have a 4.2" 8 rib pulley sitting in my garage that was on the car for maybe 500 miles that I would sell for $50 shipped which prochager or SDCE will sell you a new one for $90

Also I am currently running a stock cubic in motor with 241 heads and a blower cam and the 4.0 pulley and I am seeing 12-13 psi

So I would run the 4.2" pulley not the 4.0"

Hope this helps

9psi seems like A lot for a 4.2" pulley doesn't it?

Is it because we have a 7.25" crank pulley versus most people have the 7.65"

No the 7.65 crank pulley would make even more boost.

The thing is the crank pulley on the 6 rib set up is a lot smaller than 7.25 so that is how you can get lower boost numbers and most people that don't plan on pushing the boost way up don't get the 8 rib stuff.

Besides boost is just a measure of restriction so if you are still going to run stock heads like me and I am running stock heads a 224/232 .595/.583 114 blower cam with 1 7/8 kooks headers and a 4 inch mufflex exhaust I am telling you the 4.0" pulley is seeing 12-13 psi and I swear I was seeing around 9psi with the 4.2" Don't believe me if you want but I am also trying to tell you that the 4.2 pulley is the biggest one that you can run as far as I know

The biggest thing is the tuning.Go conservative and it can last a long time. The second is driving style.Driving normal and go through a few gears sometimes is fine.Doing highway runs up to 180mph will kill the motor quickly.

FYI- I ran 12-14psi on my 02 Vette (stock motor) for 3 years on pump gas -no meth.

Just talked to epp. Like I said, I have the 6 rib setup which uses a 6" crank pulley. That is why I'm getting 7 psi with a 3.4 blower pulley. By my calculations, to get 7 psi with a 7.25 you would need a 4.1 pulley and with a 7.65 you would need a 4.3 pulley, however, epp would be the best one's to talk to. Sorry about the confusion.
