Well had the car tuned yesterday up at Bluecats. The car did really well for the most part, uncovered some small issues. Car needs bigger fans, gets hot quik! Also 2.73 gears are way to tall for the dyno, third gear pulls where lasting a crazy 10 full seconds, and I think up to 160+ MPH. So i need to get some lower gears in her. We only got up to 8.5 or so PSI, my boost controller was not working properly. But I think it is very respectable numbers. 478hp/474tq
Here is the graph.

Good numbers, especially through the th400. Get it to the track and see how it does. What are the specs on the cam you have and how much timing did you run?

Here are the only videos as of right now. No changes since the 2 step best pass so far is the 10.68 pass. Intake and elbow work wonderful. I do have a new cam to install but I really need to get a rearend and a gear in this thing, also a cage!!!! Enjoy

No new dyno #'s. Last time I logged the DA was extremly low at the track and I was seeing 11 PSI. I added 5% fuel accross the board to bring the A/F back down. I need to get a gear before I get it back on the dyno. I plan on getting it on the rollers again in spring!

Can any of you guys post what kit you are using from Ebay or is that something we can get banned for? Not sure what you can or can't mention if it isn't form a supporting vendor.

Thanks!
Dave

I know this is an old thread....but build looks nice.... only questions are, did you have any issues with the pipes clearing the stock K-member? Any need of an oil scavange pump for the oil return with the turbo being mounted down low? Build looks great, great et's!

People complain about having clearence issues, but i didnt run into any. Yes it takes a little tedious pipe moving and playing with but it does fit. My car does seem to smoke a little becouse of where the turbo sits but i think it is becouse of the placement of my drain line on the pan also. I think if you can put the drain in the front of the oil pan you wont have any issue.

good to know...I have seen that the solid motor mounts are a must do. Are you running an oil restictor in the feed side of the oil line for the turbo? If not that may cure the smoking issue too

No oil restricor. The turbonetics units have one already installed... I definatly know its the return line fall becouse if I pull the car on just a slight incline it stops smoking all together. Its not bad by any means, it only occurs when the turbo is cold and if I have to do some hard braking.
