Default Am I shooting myself in the foot ??

My setup C5 A4

JPR stage two heads 10.5:1 compression
Stock cam for now... I need to know what to buy
tpis headers
off road X
3.42
3500 Stall

I want to ad a 7psi vortech blower will this work or will i be replacing motors left and right ???

some one please tell me what to do to set this up right ???

Also can you tell me what cam to run ???

Or chime in if you have some lq9 heads to trade for these JPR heads !! !!

You should pick a cam with minimum intake/exhaust overlap. Some say you should have zero, others say a little is OK.

10.5:1 compression is pretty high for a FI engine; you could still do it but you would have to run very low boost.

Guy in our club has a zo6 which is 10.5:1 compression with a cam and headers and a d1 blower. Motor is holding fine. ~560 rwhp / 510 rwtq on a mustang dyno at about 9 psi.

His only problem has been getting the rear to hold together. 2 broken diffs already, launching on a bfg dr. best 60' on 18" drags has been like 1.53 on the way to an 11.teen at almost 128.5 mph.

Your shooting yourself in the foot, buy some low compression 73cc chamber 6.0L heads, then you should be alright for a while....
