Default What type of brake setups do you use?

A lot of people who post in FI have amazingly fast and powerful cars, so assuming you built from the bottom up (suspension/handling --> power plant) I'm curious to know what kind of brake systems you all use for a point of reference. So if you don't mind sharing, please post RWHP and brake setup!

Sorry no dyno numbers yet. Estimate 600 to 650 rwhp at current boost plan on 1000rwhp max but still think stay at 700rwhp or so for general street driving.

I have just ls1 brakes with kvr rotors and kvr pads upgrading shortly to c5 z06 calipers ,rotors and pads in front and c5 calipers and pads in back. Stainless lines.

And for sure you want to have good brakes.

#'s in sig, stock calipers, Hawk pads and drilled/slotted rotors. They really don't make a kit with much more clamping force than stock that will fit inside my wheels, or I'd have something else.

mustang hydroboost setups can be had pretty cheap if you are keeping power steering.

MY99TAWS6, I've been looking into a C5 Z06 brake setup and so far all I see are front conversion kits, am I to understand the the rear brackets don't need to be modified?

Correct..front requires c5 or c5 z06 calipers and pads and rotors . I got umi conversion brackets.
Backs you simply use c5 or c5z06 caliper and pad and f body rotors. no conversion brackets.
hearing some diff on front lines..some say ls1 ok some say to use c5 but they are way long. I have stainless lines now f body lines forget if earls or russel so not sure how they will work gess have to see.

Stock/stock replacement stuff. I'd rather spend money elsewhere.
