Just to help clarify they are running the Procharger 8 rib set up. stock heads and EPP's Blower cam. Ordered new from EPP. They received a 4.38" pulley but the belt they got will not fit with this pulley. Also according to the install info the belt they have should fit a 4.25" pulley.

How much boost will they see with the 4.25" pulley.

Also AJ did you guys call EPP yet. And if you need I have a 4.25" pulley sitting at home.

he called procharger and they said thats the right belt (408I-008) which i KNOW its not then they said the 4.38" is a 10 psi pulley which i think is hard to believe!!!!

its a super super tight fit. and a PITA to get that belt on, and try it with a 12 rib setup!! also youll probably make 7psi or so on that pulley, my 4 inch pulley on my LT1 with P1SC (same step up ratio as the D1sc) made 10-11psi. at 6200rpm.

You will see around 7-8psi with that pulley.. I saw 7psi spinning my car to 6k.

The belt will be really tough to get on when it is new, but a new belt stretches after the first half an hour of use. Try to get the belt on half way around the pulley, then bump the engine over to pop it on.

There is no such thing as an 8 psi pulley or a 10 psi pulley. How much boost the blower can produce depends on many variables.
* Cubic inch. The larger the engine the less boost it will make with a blower.
* Headers and exhaust. A better flowing system will produce less boost, requires a smaller pulley to regain the loss in boost. Ultimately though, more power will be gained.
* Camshaft and heads. A camshaft with some overlap will leak out some boost through the valves. Better flowing heads react a lot like a better flowing exhaust system.
* Altitude. Elevation plays a big part in how much boost is produced. Those people living in the higher elevations have to spin the blower harder to see boost.
* Condition of engine. An engine with real good sealing rings will ultimately produce more boost than one with worn rings.
* Rpm. An engine that is spun up higher in the rpm range will normally produce more boost. Bob

the only way to get that belt on is to get it on the blower pulley first, your tensioner should be at the most slack position.Get you a wrench that fits the crank bolt and walk it on. Its just like slinging your chain on your bike when you were little, you didnt have any tools so you just forced it back in place..Its a pita but it will work.It will be bango string tight, but it will work. Ive had mine off and on several times, same deal every time.
