Default Boosted cam lsa

I have a quick question. Can I run a turbo 346 upwards of 650rwhp and have a cam between 110 and 112? I'm up in the air about stroker of boost, but would hate to get ride of the muscle car idle chop.

Would a 110 to 112 lsa kill a boosted car?

There are plenty o discussions on here about cam selection with turbos. In my opinion more cam will just make more power. The 112 lsa will bleed off some boost and spool up may suffer as that cam will use more air than a more efficient 117 lsa. Im sure some profesionals will chime in here as well. You will notice that different builders like different profiles whether its small or lsa, split or reverse split duration and so on. they all seem to make good power. I think you will be fine as long as the duration is not huge.

everyone has their own opinions about this as i've been reading. i'm not turbo'd but i have been looking into this and it seems there is no defininite answer. i'm sure a high lsa and meteocre/close together duration is ideal but i'm sure as long as it's not a crazy big n/a cam you should be fine. i'm going to try mine out if i ever get $$ for a turbo.

You can run whatever cam you want, will the combination be optimized no. You really need to look at cams with limited overlap 115-117lsa. My cam is in this range.

I think the cam selection is more critical with a turbo set up rather than a blower set up.
