Ya, What Tom, Chas, Mr. Fong and Noyzee said.
If I was to do it again though, I'd have kooks make the header manifolds and plumbing, Limit make the Turbos to my engines needs and Turbo People complete the install. This would be about 12-14k complete, installed, running and better.
I will say the quality of the CAS kit seems pretty good... with some plumbing and clamp upgrades and some minor mods, definately a decent purchase if Tom gets them on the shelf... in which case have Speed Inc. install it.

Noyz, I know we will. I've just got to honest with myself about the time and challenges. I need to get out to see yours soon and pick up the heads (for a completely different project by the way).

Solobaric, If your considering the CAS kit, theres someone on the forum here that is selling his brand new one (Cartek has it) and the parts that are missing seem to be the easy stuff...stuff Noyz can explain or stuff I may have and not be using because my turbos are bigger. That may be the best bet.

Yep, I have been following his saga closely as well. I think I have come to the point where I am frustrated enough just to go ahead and get to work on building my 427 ready for FI, drive it NA for a while, and then just continue to wait and see who and what comes out of the turbo-world. Guess I have waited my whole driving life for a twin turbo setup, it's won't kill me to wait a little longer. Thanks for all the info, and keep it coming.

Jam, You seeing my set up will help out alot. Like i said you name when, and i'll be around.

The parts on the kit forsale from Cartek wouldnt take much to finish.
It might be a best bet!

Looks good to me anytime after 4 pm is great.
The weather should be nice to so a ride is a must!
I will prob be working on a couple cars to, but nothing we cant put a side for a bit. Just let me know i'll leave them together so they are movable to kep my lift free!

I got an e-mail from Tony (CAS) - He's sending the last of the parts needed,
and hopefully the instructions.
ordered 1/16/03 - - -

To those wondering, all grate things take grate patience.
(71 RS-Z28 was on blocks for 2 1/2 years last revamp)

TT ing new SS -- IS -- a very GRATE thing.


Big thanks to all... helping, following the saga.

Complete kit will be up for sale soon, keep your eyes open for sale post.

Still looking for incon manifolds. and some misc. any help in that
department would be GRATE.

solo, I think it may work pretty good, but look at the turbo compressor maps...these turbos would likely top out before the motor was ready.
