Default CAS TT install?

Anyone know if CAS offers installation of their TT setup or are they just selling the kit. If not, anyone know where in the midwest I could get a kit installed at? Thanks.

From what I have head they want to do the install themselves. So if there are any modifications that need to be done they can do it immediately. But I'm not 100% sure.

CAS would install and tune, I believe speed got out of the loop. Call and find out, but buying just the kit might be hard.

Thanks guys.
Hey Noyzee, did CAS perform your install as well? Are they running behind on production or are they readily available if you have them install it? Did you have the heads and cam right in the begining or was that later down the road? If not, what were your original numbers with just the TT's. Thanks for your time.

Sorry, forgot to ask Noyzee, but can you hear the CAS system spooling? Love that sound!! Also, are these turbos upgradeable at all to larger turbos?

CAS and Myself did the install. He made my kit as we went along, due to the fact it was the first st 2 he did. I believe he as some parts made and ready, you would have to talk with him, But he wants to do all installs. I know he has been crazy with vett stuf, but he might be interested in a f-bod.
I have the upgraded turbos, st 1 is t 34's, st 2 is t-44's.
I had the heads and cam on befor, i did them for the kit. they drop my CR to 9-1 for safty resons. I made more then my sig last night on 10 psi, Much better.
I do know he made about 480 i think on a BONE stock C5 with 7 psi. I mean STOCK!!!!!! nothing but a turbo kit!

Thanks again Noyzee. Anyone know if the price listed on the website is the installed price or is it just for the kit?.

Is he just running a year behind on production, or just on the installation appointments.

still nothing. It took about 6 mo. to get 85% and now 5 mo. of looking
at a rather nice looking kit, but NO PARTS TO FINISH.
Thanks CAS. Hope you go out of buisness soon.

Hey TTSSZ, do you know what parts are missing? Do you think if you had had CAS install it, he would have been more prone to have a complete kit on hand? Thanks for the help.

Cartec was going to piece together the kit, it is only minor misc. at this point, but since I decided to sell, I need all the orig. parts so I can sell a "complete kit" to someone, not a P.O.S. -tony take notes-

I know Tony@CAS personally, so here are my 2 cents.

He is a good guy, he really is. The problem is that he runs a small operation, and what he anticipates to be 2 weeks, becomes 2 months. Why this is, I dont know, maybe he is extremely optimistic, maybe he is just a poor judge of time. When relying on outside sources for materials, parts, etc, things never seem to run on schedule. I am not making excuses for him, I dont know what goes through his mind when he speaks with people. For all I know, he may be flat out lying to get people off his back until the next time they call. I have been through this with Tony several times over the last 8 years dealing with him in a TON of business and personal transactions. He has however, always come through for me with quality products, usually well after his initial ETA, but I did eventually get them.

As far as kit TT kit, it is definatly a nice system, Tony builds quality products. We are still offering the system, but we have ceased to advertise/promote or "reserve" them until we have them sitting on the shelf. (We have had 2 systems on order for 6 months). It gets frustrating to have people calling every few weeks looking for a kit, and I have to tell them to try back in another 2 weeks. Once they come in, we will advertise, promote, sell, install, tune them etc. We are very much looking forward to it.

So to clarify to those who have been inquiring why we do not have CAS TT kits on the site.... We just stopped advertising it until we have them on the shelf. If a customer calls, and wants one, they will have confidence knowing that it is leaving the same day. The quality, and performance of the kit is excellent, it is just a matter of availability.

I consider myself to be a friend of Tony's...but I can't defend him on his dates that he tells folks.

But I will say that he's been there for me when I needed him to step up and give me a hand.

I've now been waiting a whole year for a motor that I ordered from another guy. It's sad that we all have to go through this. I remember a guy saying he sold his car then the parts came in. That's terrible and I feel for you.

Whatever the reason is for things not getting finished and missing parts.....I think at a minimum we should all be updated on why things are taking so long.

I'll see about speaking with Tony and mentioning he needs to settle up with you.

Believe me I feel your pain....still waiting for my motor over here.......this guys in Kentucky...hard for me to stop by and complain or see whee the progress is. He's also a nice guy and I hear makes some awesome stuff. But man this wait is just a joke.
