Yeah where you at on that one? I think if you're givin props on him doin it himself then you should be to instead of having yours done in a shop...
Either way Im jealous because my engine doesnt have a shiny turbo next to it but still, why dont you do yours, yourself too?
On the right side of things, always love a good DIY build, keep the pics and info comin.

Been welding for a few years, but just for fun. Using the same old 110v lincoln welder (mig) but just recently started playing with argon. BIG difference in weld quality between using shielded wire and solid wire w/argon.
Give you a few tips, when welding anything 1/4" or over, shielded wire (no gas) makes a much easier and better bond, but kinda messy. ANYTHING under 1/4", use argon with solid wire, nice smooth welds, no splatter.
You can learn to weld VERY easy with about $500 +150 if you use argon (bottle fee and fillup) and to get a decent 110v lincoln welder. I started out just using some scrap metal and welding them together, playing around with wire speed and heat range. Welding is pretty fun man and once you start building crap with scrap metal, sticks, angle or flat and it turns out decent, makes it all worth it.

I was a little skeptical when I 1st started reading about 6.0 truck manifold turbo setups but they have been proven to make extremely good power, even as much as 1000+rwhp.
