Default these headers on a tt setup= ok or not ok?

i looking at using these on my upcoming build and wanted to get some opinions. if these wouldn't work or if something might work better please post it up. these seem like they would be the easiest to plumb the hot side with. my idea is to swap sides to aim them forward and plumb to the turbos. any input is appreciated. thanks!

They might crack. I think you would be better off with a set a of 6.0 truck manifolds. They flow and are very strong. People have done 1k hp with them so why not?

i have seen people posting up that they were running them but never gave it much thought. the "manifold" usually = restriction. hmm ok i will pick me up a set. i was worried the Edelbrocks might not handle the temps but i wanted to see if others thought so. what do the truck manifolds usually sell for?

Yup the truck manifolds will bolt up to aftermarket heads. If you want them to flow a little more, you can slightly port them.

You can pick up truck manifolds for $50-$75 for a nice set pretty easily.

in the classifieds? or does someone sell them new for that?

would it be beneficial to have them coated with Jet-Hot or something similar?

I've bought them from the classifieds and from ebay. Most prefer the non egr versions.

Yeah an iron manifold would keep the heat in a lot better than a header = more heat in turbine housing = more power ( ho ho ho), you could also just wrap the manifolds instead of coating them too.
