Latest is Kelford cams have offered to do a custom grind to suit my combo.

Have sent them all my engine/turbo specs/power goals, and they will get back to me with a recomendation, but sounds like it will be reverse split.

will post up what they come up with.

How come nobody is running the stock Z06 cam? Wouldn't that do big power as well? I thought they can support 1000rwhp and idle like stock.....

With enough boost, a 305 TBI cam will make 1000 rwhp and idle like stock.

in227/ex229 .598 .598 110cl / 120cl & 115 LSA.

Okay got the cam in 227/229 .598 .598 110atdc 120 btdc

A little disappointed in idle, you know its not stock but no lope to it at all.

Drivability is great, like stock manners.

Picked up 40 rwhp over my other cam and makes peak torque 400 rpm sooner at same boost, so on the whole a worthwhile exersize

Good to hear that because I have a 95 383 and I am going from supercharged to turbo. I ran 138 mph with a very bad slipping clutch with the supercharger, Turbo is still in the build process.

Pump gas plus meth running two jets.

Aiming for 700 rwhp , currently 622rwhp on 15 psi but turbo exhaust housing .96AR is holding me back at present, have a 1.32AR on order.

Now thats bad news for me because I have the same .96AR, I was hoping for more like 750 + RWHP. I guess its all in the combo. I've heard people say with a 76mm & .96 they made 800 RWHP. I tuned one with a 88mm that made 670RWHP on pump then again I tuned another with a 76mm, .96 AR that only made 560 RWHP. Had a way big nasty sounding NA cam. and a necked down tubing to the throttle body..I guess I will see..I better make more than the supercharger setup which was 648 RWHP on pump and 722 RWHP on the fast gas...

850 - 1000 rwhp is achievable with the .96 AR 76 mm.

Don't think the TC78 will do that, not without a race cover.
and mine is def falling over up top with the .96ar, Turbonetics are making a 1.32 AR for me, had none in stock !

I don't know how the TC turbine wheel compares to the GTS. The GTS wheel is directly from the GT42, I believe.

OT, but aside from the hotside housing, a cam with a lower LSA also moves the powerband higher up on the RPM range correct?

A lower LSA cam will generally make more power at lower rpm but have a choppier idle on an N/A car anyway !
