I have a metal one that comes in the procharger twin intercooled system , the metal one is threaded.

I am not sure it the LS6 intake can be driled and taped to screw in a AIT sensor .

Or if i use a SLP/LS1/LS6 egr intake tube kit

Has anyone tryed this

I tapped my piping to accept the sensor. I believe it's 16 gauge mild steel and it holds fine and doesn't leak

i did it! i used the cyclone iat sensor that is 3/8 pipe so i drilled and tapped the intake. i ran 12psi on it and never had a problem. just be careful when doing it though.
