*Anyone run a hot wire kit? I have an inline Aromotive fuel pump, Speed inc sells a hot wire kit for it, this is so it always sees constaint voltage, no drops. Is this a good mod? I never noticed a problem with mine, but would this be a good thing to do anyway?

It worked for my pump setup, well until the car saw the boost I wanted, then the FP started dropping........
When I was around 10-11psi it never dropped under 60psi of FP.....
Now I just need some twin 340's

just run a dedicated (fused and relay triggered) power wire to the pump and you are done.switch the relay from the existing pump power wire... im surprised it didnt start off wired this way???

The pump is wired direct to the ignition, it is a single in line. I swich the key on, it sees power. I've never had an issue with the 61* i run, but they say this hot wire kit keeps the voltage to the pump at a constaint 13 volts no matter what turns on, fans,radio,heat,wipers.

yours is allready like this if its like i think it is.. just no relay.
if you check the stock pump wiring you will see it is voltage regulated to 12.. anything else will see alternator voltage such as the set up you allready have.

Right, But when the fans turn on the voltage drops for a seconed. this kit is supposed to eliminate that drop to the fuel pump incase it kicks on under load. Fan is just one example.
