STS wiring schematics help needed
I have an oil pump return problem. I had a low/high switch that has always been set to low and have not had any problems for well over a year.
I recently have developed return oil issues and currently trying to find problem by matter of elimination.
Prior to replacing the pump with a new version of pump from STS, I was able to detect an audible difference in the speed of pump when switching the low/high switch.
After new pump install yesterday, the hi/low switch will not reveal the audible difference in pump motor. Sounds the same!
Next, I removed the in line resistor and wired direct. Still no noticeable difference. To test, I have been turning the ignition key on for a couple seconds WITHOUT actually starting engine.
I have found a couple of relays in the wiring harness BEULER 12v 40/60A, BU-5083W-0000.
Can someone explain what these do?
BTW I started another thread earlier about my oil return problem (Oil in Charge side of turbo) and have received a couple of replies but interested in more thoughts.
