Default dumb wastegate question!!!

i have a 50mm turbonetics wastegate that im going to use with my new turbo setup.my question is which of the two ports do i plumb into the "merge" before the turbo? the wastegate has to large ports in it. one is at the bottom of a valve and the other is above the valve. it also has two open ports for for vacuum. one is on top and the other is on the side. what is needed to hook this up? thanks, anthony

The one where the valve seats at the bottom of the unit is the inlet, so that side will go to your charge pipe...

The other is the outlet, you can run a pipe away from the area to dump it, or dump it into the DP, or some guys leave an empty flange and just let her out...

As far as vacuum lines go I would double check on the manufacturer guidelines, but in the case of my Tial the top port stays open to atmosphere and the side port is where it gets the reference.

Hope this helps
