It doesn't look like the inside is coated... but it looks like that thing was never welded

uh . . .

its 1800 degree shitty high temp in a can paint. I was planning on ceramic coating it but the local coating place decided to hike the price by 50% from the time i called to the time i showed up and kinda pissed me off

i know its not going to hold up, and i knows its going to flake off rather quickly, but this is an uber budget build and im running outta funds so you gotta do what you gotta do. i purposefully made it so very little has to be removed to get the crossover out the bottom (1 cold side pipe and unclamp the down pipe). i just found out today that a local place has a killer deal on DEI heat wrap so i will probably wrap it in the very near future, but what little money i have left is going to finishing it. details will trickle in down the line

edit:
btw, i cant take credit for the welding. i did the cutting and measuring and fitting and everything then brought it to a friend to have it welded. if fact the only portions of the welds you can still see are the remnants of my ugly tack welds that held it together

wait whaaaa t3???

i mean no hatin, but last time i spoke "T3" was with my 67mm turbo civic...!!!

on the reals tho, youl want 2&1/4 off each header runnin to your turbo with a legit 2-1 goin into the t3 flange. If you have a legit t3 flanged hotside turbo that ****** is gonna spool damn near off idle.

I used VHT a couple of years ago on my pipes. I cooked it on there according to the instructions then wrapped them with the cheapest header wrap I could find. I took it apart the other day to do some work & the paint looked flawless. I probably have around 20k miles on this set up.
