I'd run the MPT76 with a .96 a/r that's what I had on my 5.7 before the compound setup. Was a great turbo!

im not worried about spool time on the 5.3 i just want the 370 to be in full spool around 3500.

A MP GT42 is only a 67mm turbo. That's really to small of a compressor for a 370. The T76 on my 5.7 was pretty much all in buy about 3300. Plus It uses a standard T4 inlet flange and 3" v-band outlet so if you need to upgrade it later, it's easy to find turbos that will bolt right on.

If you think 76mm is to big, you could use a T70, it will spool VERY quick on a 370, lol. And for $600 you can't beat the price. I had one of those on my 5.7 with a .68 a/r before the t76 and it was almost like nitrous it hit so fast and hard, lol.

You can also get the T76 with a Q trim, 1.0 a/r now.

well thats just great. lol i already have a 67. is there anything inbetween a 76mm and an 88mm turbo? i think the 88 is alittle too big and a 76 would work but im planning on making around 700 hp and im unsure on how well it would support it.

I have a gt45 with the 1.22 a/r exhaust side.

Have not used it, however i see countless people in love with em on those dumbass supra deals.

Excited to see how it does, did quite a bit of research before i got it..

Yes, the Q-trim is bigger then the P-trim. The T76/Q-trim 1.0 A/R is the biggest turbo, best power producing turbo MP is currently offering. It should get you your 700rwhp

Here is there MP Racing turbo catalog.
