The BBC will be going into the Vette this car isn't going any where. We are trying to gain some sponsers to build another Drag Radial Car that will be powered by my Warhawk engine. There are many things that I would have done differently if I had started from scratch with a purpose built car. The C5 has gone thru many many transformations and the rules have loosened up a bit. I would like to take advantage of that.
The Warhawk is going in for a freshening and a few tweeks. We learn so much each and everytime we go out. I know I can go 6's it's just a matter of everything clicking. The Big Block may be looked as the easy way out. But in this class I asure you there is NO easy way. The Big Block is a much stonger foundation and we really don't need to lean on it to hard to run at the top. We were pounding the LS to run the numbers and thats not going to allow me to win races.
As for all the guys that feel they can take the record down. I will tell you that it won't come easy at this level every 100th is a mission of it's own. Your running out of time I am willing to bet that this years list will be closed out with me on top once again.

Good job Paul! Look forward to seeing your new BBC setup at SCSN...
As far as I know, there are only two cars in the 6's that run in Paul's class. Kevin Fiscus (454 SBF w/twin 88's) and Dave hance (632 BBC w/twins). Steve Jackson would easily run the number too but runs 1/8th..

Pauls car is definatley impressive!! But you cant compare all ls combos against each other, look at what we have and what paul runs, he has more $$under the hood of his car than we have in the whole car!! He is right, trying to get every last .01 of a sec out of a combo is difficult, we ran a 7.44 at the last race and we think 30's will be doable but 20's may be a stretch on our little ls2/single turbo but were gonna try like hell. So to get within .20 of pauls car with the stuff we have i'd say were doing pretty good.
With big block power Paul will be tough to beat!! First to 6.80's?? Good luck and kick some ***!!

I think any LS motor in the 7's is pretty impressive, you guys are just pushing them to the limits now though. But at some point you have to look at the amount of $$ you throw at the motor plus lean on them hard every run before the BBC starts looking nice to throw a ton of power at them without flogging them. But cudo's to all you guys trying to push the LS stuff to the limits as it's one hell of a motor...
