Default 2 issues wth installing my d1sc, thoes with one come in

One problem after another.....

I finally get my hardware kit in so im home free with getting this **** finally mounted. Well i finally do but now next issue. I check out the belt routing and the ****** belt rubs on the lower hex spacer. From the alternator to the balancer, it hits that spacer. WTF, its only 10% underdrive and i see that a lot of people use ( http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATI-917277/ ). My only guess is use a underdrive pully so its a little bigger and may just clear.

Second, how does everyone run the belt when not using power steering? If i go from the tensioner, under the W and ver t the alt, it only hits the WP pully just a little bit, is that enough to spin it? Got any pics of how ure acc. belt is ran?

I always used power steering, without it the belt will run right into the hex standoff. The stock belt routing with PS wont hit that standoff.

I did do a Manual rack on my old car for a short time and had to make an extra idler pulley on the lower standoff. Not very much rides on the WP pulley, I had an electric water pump so it didnt matter. I (and many others) have done the old 'short belt' mod that eliminated the PS pump and it had the same amount of belt on the WP pulley and never had any issues with the stock water pump on other cars.

Here is a pic of the pulley I added

The one on top is the stock idler pulley for the PS, it doesnt need to be there when you eliminate the PS. Its just in the pic because I was using it as a spacer since one of the procharger brackets bolts to it and I was lining everything up.
