Default Backfire between shifts after Maggie?

When making WOT (or near WOT) runs I get a single backfire through the exhaust between each shift. Maybe it's normal, but as it's my first FI setup I thought I'd ask.

I'm not powershifting, just a regular quick granny shift.

Thanks!
Mark

Mine will do that from time to time. I think its from being on the rich side. Shouldn't be a problem. Sure gives the guy beside you a wake up call tho. haha

It was tuned at Diablosport. It does smell a bit rich, but I guess that could be the high flow cats.

Mine does it between any shift when I'm driving aggressively... but not if I'm just cruising around in low RPM's.

Ah well... I was wanting to go with a smaller pulley and re-tune anyways.
