I just took a 101 off and put a 94 on..... Car is faster now. The 101 may need nitrous to get full use of it. I may get to the track sometime, so you might have get steal that title from me

I'm just looking for 1300rwhp with the 94, I think I've about got it, then we'll see how next summer goes.

My reading comprehension must be off today because I can't see anywhere that you posted that you were gunning for fastest M6. That said, I'm pretty sure that the M6 in your car is nothing like the M6 that you will need in order to run an 8.50. That's a very lofty and EXPENSIVE goal that you are targeting. Godspeed.

Indeed, that is exactly why the M6 in my car will be overhauled and reworked by liberty's gears where they can prepare it to a 1500 hp level and face-plate the 1-4 gears for faster shifting. I've had the transmission gone through in the car 6 times and had 5 variations of rear axle of some point, I know what abuse racing a six speed puts down!

FWIW I know alot of guys that run T4/88s with a V8....two of them on a 400-427"motor. Every single 88 car I know runs a T6 housing.

He is saying all the T4 88s he sees are in twin form. All the single 88s are T6s.

mightymouse, do you know your exhaust backpressure readings or ratios? what cubic inch are you? What do you put down on the rollers about 950?

That's about what I put down with my old PT88 and old 383...psi would hit 25ish and fall to 21-22psi at the end of the run.. I was told my Precision that I was about down making power with that turbo and was cavitating it....

you don't have any idea of how much backpressure you ran though? Unless those are the numbers you just gave me, in which case with what boost pressure do you get those backpressures. seems like a very important number to know, but nobody ever has an answer.. and was your 950 rwhp on a mustang or dynojet? If I could get 900 or more rwhp on the same dyno I last put down 580 @ 11PSI Ill be psyched..

Ill be running 20 degrees of IGN timing (up from 16)
a 4" DP (up from a 3" butted up to the turbine outlet w/o any transition)
a 4" Cold side (up from a 2.5 that was down to 2 1/4 at the intercooler)
45-50 IAT temps utilizing a PT3000 + Ice water (down from avg 170 or so)
22-23 PSI boost pressure and race fuel
and fabricating an intake system so my air doesnt get inhaled from directly behind the radiator.

Hopefully those things plus a more aggressive launch and timing curve and running skinnies vs. street tires, plus the flat shift trick etc. will pick me up the necessary 220rwhp or more, and that should be sufficient for 9.80s or better with the 6 speed. (1.0 second quicker) which will be where I learn about tuning the car.

Sorry, no back pressure numbers....When I was basically maxed out the turbo, I just got a new setup. Anyway, the changes you have made are going to give you about the same results I got... Note if your running C16... give it even more timing....I was at 26 deg. @ 18psi and when it hit 21-24 psi I was @ 24 degs.... All motors are a bit diff. but c16 is very forgiving and I just keep making power with my timing..

Good to know about the timing, I dont think Ill go any further than 22 though. So what boost were you running when you had those backpressure readings so I could figure your ratio ?

Those are the boost #'s ....like I said, no back pressure readings.. MY buddy just tonight made 860ish rwhp with the same turbo you got....20psi, 24 deg timing, 11.0 afr....he didn't get time to turn it all the way up...should get over 900rwhp with it though... he's got a ford 347, heads flow 330+... BTW..... you need that timing to make power...
