Does anyone have experience with a wastegate springs from ebay? Are they all the same. My 5lb spring that came with my STS kit is making about 4lbs of boost so I just ordered and 8.7psi/6.0BAR small blue spring off ebay for 15 bucks in hopes to see 7lbs of boost. Just wondering if I bought junk or not.

why not a cheap manual boost controller.

i took my incons from 7 -15 psi with one of these el cheapos

interesting... is it simple to use? and is it reliable? i just dont want to accidently boost the SOB to 15lbs because im unsure how to use it ha ha.

yes...u just turn it a little at a time to figure out how much of a turn=how much boost.

seems simple enough so when i put my 8lb spring is it okay to turn it down to say 7 or 6 with this controller? or is it not recommended to run lower boost than the spring thats in it..

You can only go as low as the spring in the gate.... Usually you get a gate spring at or below what your lowest boost will be, and then turn it up from there with the Controller....

ok i ordered the manual boost controller cablebandit recommended, the spring is 8# spring is comin too but im gonna hold off installing it im gonna just up the boost of the 5# with the controller see if that works out for me. thanks guys
