Hopefully not piston related.
Do you have DFCO on?

Dont know what DFCO is.

Edit: Looked it up, as far as I know it is on. But it has definitely been an idea that was thrown around. Ill look at the tune tomorrow and see whats in there.

The crank case doesnt smell like gasoline at all and the catch can has hardly any blow by in it so I think those are good signs. The intake manifold still smells like gas after 3 days of sitting so Im sure its a fuel issue. Im almost thinking its an injector o-ring.

If the injectors aren't tuned just right, when it goes into DFCO, it cuts spark and a little bit of fuel still gets injected (and therefore burns/explodes in the exhaust). Turn DFCO totally off to see if that is the problem.

Pretty sure its just a bad turbo at this point. I had a few guys over at the house this weekend and we were looking at everything. When I started it up apparently the turbo wasnt even spinning so that could cause a restriction on both the intake and exhaust causing me to run rich. It backfires hard when the turbo is off but I think that is just because of reversion, since the flange is like a foot from the exhaust port. Shipping it out tonight, I think.

DO you have any more pics? I am thinking about using this kit to relocate my GT-88 from the rear to the front. Do you have any advice?

Dont buy it. Thats the best advice I can give. It honestly wont come close to doing that gt88 justice in any way. Pick up some turbo headers and a cross over or get setup with a kit from a sponsor. You can get a pretty nice kit from Josh@KYTP for about 2200 or you can do truck manifolds and with some welding experience you could do it for way less.

From my experience you are better off to build one if you have the time/ability!

I built the rear mount set up I presently have. I was debating on doing a truck manifold build or one of these. It just looks like one of these would make the build easier then building all of it myself with truck manifolds. I am thinking of using a BMR turbo engine craddle, then moving the turbo up front. I think I will just go the truck manifold route with the BRM engine craddle.

Sorry to hear your turbo is out.

Thanks guys.

I mean the kit isnt that bad but the fit isnt that great and youll need lots of time to modify other things to make it fit for a long term deal. I saw some bad *** OFI turbo headers in the for sale section which would be a great option to start a build with!

I dont think there is anything better than making your own kit, you get to do everything the way you want and you know how it was done.

I think a manifold 2.5" merge setup is very efficient and cheap... hell my car puts down over 600hp....

all he needs is the merge and charge pipes and intercooler hell thats only like $400

I think the ebay setup is junk....

build your own, youll like it better

I am making over 700 right now with the set up on the rear. I just thought using a kit like this might make the swap easier. The more I think about it, the more I think I will just use the stuff I already have. I have a passenger side truck manifold, and all the stuff I have on the present setup. I think all I would need is a BMR turbo craddle, two pusher type fans, maybe a radiator I can tuck under the upper support, maybe a smaller AC condencer that will fit, and a 2 1/4" mandrel bent pipe kit. I would have to modifymy charge piping too. The goal is 800+rwhp with close to no lag. The more I think about it, the more I think I will do it. I realy like the way the PTK kit looks. Good looking setup. But the truck manifold thing is what I think I need to do.
