I have an ls1 manifold/truck tb currently. I also am thinking of going with the pro-flo. I have a fast 92mm tb and fuel rails waiting to go on whatever I end up with. I have read many other places that the pro-flo is great bang-for-buck when you have the room for it (i do no problem )

of the people that listed what they have what would you run if you didn't have room restrictions? would you use the proflo if it fit? yeah yeah yeah i know ls intakes are cheaper and work but is the poflo still better?

Pro Flo here, under a stock hood with just a small dimple on the outside, sitting on solid spohn mounts. Plan on running 15#+ as soon as this build is complete, should be the next couple days!!

There is one issue with the ProFlo that I forgot to mention but it's easy to remedy. Apparently a couple of the injector bungs are close to the location where the fuel rails bolt up and interfere with the fat injectors. My understanding is that clearance can be made as there is plenty of material there. If you are going to run a seimens/motron (60-80#) type injector, no action is required.

And another down fall is that you have to run the pro flo fuel rails as the bolt holes are spaced differently. However, they are the same price as any other aftermarket rails, so you can sell yours(if you have aftermarket rails) and go to summit and order the pro flo rails. I got mine under a stock hood, and plan on keeping the drivers side wiper, just have to fab a bracket.

There is a drag car in Oz than has run very low 8's on a stock LS6 and Stock TB a few years ago.
Given most pipework is 3" OD, the stock TB can hardly be considered a restriction given it is pretty much 3" also.
