Seems like alot of people are using the LS6 intake.....leads me to question.
What is the intakes limits in regaurds to horsepower?
I am shooting for 900whp can The ls6 intake do that. (Who is doing it, not theoretically, who is actually getting there)
What are the benifits/ drawbacks of victor jr. super victor compared to the LS6?
If you are running a victor....Why did you decide to?
Any problems with tuning? Leaning of inner cylinders?
Discuss!!

The most famous of LS1tech is MightyMouse He made over 1000rwhp with one. I switch from a Fast 90 to a Vic jr. The last time I took off the fast it had signs that it was expanding. The screws on the bottom were backed way out and it had blown out about 1" off gasket on one of the runners. Plus I could sell it, buy the Vic and pocket $150 bucks.

You know "THEIR" names or have you "heard" of it happening. Not trying to be an A$$ But someone just told me they heard of a 1500 lb boar in texas. It is the urban legends web site.... I am just trying to get some hard data PROOF. Who is doing it?

search, plenty of people over the years.
I know a few years ago an Aussie ute ran very low 8's with a YSi and stock LS6/TB
Many people change it simply because they can, or think it needs replaced. Either way, there are those who have proven it works just fine.
its a bit like people saying they need 100mm TB's etc, then run 76mm ( 3" ) piping everywhere.
Yea...that makes sense. Why anyone would run a TB much larger than their TB, is totally beyond me, and it makes no sense whatsoever.

The single piece intake(LS6) will hold better than a two piece(Fast)...The LS6 is a proven intake for FI...A lot of guys like the VIC cause it performs well, plus it looks badass...

The Ohio Boys (one of them specifically.... Mike Brown)... was running mid/low 8's@160mph+ with an LS6 intake... plus he was running a turbo kit based off of 5.3/6.0 truck manifolds reversed and flipped forwards. The car is/was around 3800lbs with a 4L80E. Making good power for sure.

Why would it not be better for distribution?

I think its safe to say GM put a lot more development into the LSx plastic intakes than any carb intake.
