.
as Chris said,it's best to stay in the max efficiency range of the turbo-this can easily be calculated.

it's not quite that simple-but with the proper machine work and prep the lq9 block will easily handle well over 1500hp

it needs to be a bare block-the 1/2'' studs are not needed until over 1500hp

Thanks Sam. I have a mountain of parts collected up for the upgrade. I will have some pics of the race engine shortly.

Perhaps you can get a hold of them as a distributor. We have been waiting for a call back from them for a week regarding a defective set of heads that we are waiting to get replacements back on. Everytime we call we get voicemail.

EDIT: I should clariify that the call back that we have been waiting for is from TEA not TFS. Although they do share the same address.

That's why most times it's better to work with a dealer instead of the main company-they usually don't have the staff for individual customers

Was spinning the old 370 to 7000, we will have to see where this one is happy. Different heads and a little bigger cam and much better valvesprings.

Has the block been modified for 6 bolt? Or are you just going to run them with 4 bolts?

Dumb question but why 370 as opposed to 402? I've seen that a lot more recently.

The 370 is a great match for the GT47-88 turbo. 400+ cubes would be a little too much for the turbo. There wasn't a whole lot of room to go to a larger turbo with the current kit.

I feel privelaged to have the early spy photos before they hit the mainstream, LOL.

But, we all have to know: Does it have ROLLER CAM BEARINGS? (inside joke).

Can't wait to see her run.
