So, I guess those were some of the BIG BOYS Paul Majors has been talking about going and racing with his 615 cuin engine? He also made the semi's.
Steve's was the only car with a 427 engine in the finals. That's worth noting in my opinion. All the others were 615 cu in CHEVROLET engines.
Conclusion: THE OHIO BOYS - with the little engine that DID.

Sorry man your comment blows me away. This is a once a year event that happens in Florida. You live there - oh well.
Memphis might be closed down. The once a year LSX event is over until next year. They will move that event to a new track next year. But, there are still some super events still happening in November.
This week-end the BIG BOYS move north to the ENGLISHTOWN redo.
The 14th. Pritchett Brothers have a big event at Virginia Motor Sports park, something like that.
Also on the 14th. there is a Big Domestic Import race.
My opinion: In my opinion there is no excuse why more folks from this board don't follow more LS racers during the season. Why be satisfied watching these quick cars once a year? You normally don't get a 32 car field like they did in Orlanda recently. If you look most of the entries came from Flordia. The events up east will draw those racers. They will be just as fast..
I like the fact these cars raced a 1/4 mile. Most regional events have several mid to low 7 second cars in their filed. So, make it point next year to find where Outlaw and 10-5 events are held. Get off your *** and go watch. Support these guys. -

Thanks everyone, the track allowed us to hang with the big dogs for awhile but the track was coming around a little bit each round and the big power guys were figuring it out as well.
I wish we could have kept the nose down against hance in the semis to make a better race of it but a 7.35@212 would have been almost impossible to beat anyways, hance is a standup guy and i enjoyed racing him and crew!
Already looking forward to next orlando race hopefully with all 3 OhioBoys cars!!?

Would I like to go? Yes, I already said that I had wished I did, but I didn't know it was coming up. It's not like missing a football game where it is advertised non stop on TV, the newspaper, and set to air on the same days every week. (I don't like or watch football by the way, but it is a good comparison.)
