Arrow Anyone remember Adam Bruce?

Guy just resurfaces in the FI section over at the "other" forum. I redirected him over here for some real tech info.

Glad to see you come over here where the good advice can be found. Now we just need to get one of those philosophical religion discussions going in the lounge

Incon and I had a proffesional arrangment that proved to not be in our mutual best interest. I asked Dave to refund my deposit and take me off the list and he very kindly did. I hate that it did not work out though as the Incon kit really seams to be a great set-up. Did anyone take over production of the kit?

Okay folks it was good talking to you all, I'm going go to go lurk again for a few years

I don't think I was the guy that made the first call to Dave, maybe call #2 or #2.5 I was one of the first guys to give him a $1,000 depost though. I hate that it didn't work out for some people. FWIW I still have the scanned in check that I wrote him. When Dave first started posting on LS1.com he was skeptical he could get 100 deposits so I posted this to show him I was serious.

I remember all the lounge threads, it was pretty much a guarantee that when Adam posted a thread, it would have 150+ replies by the end of the day. At least it was that way until all the bubblegum kiddies moved in over there.

The Kiddies and Leg-humpers are what ruined it for me and why I stopped going over there. While I think it's important to have a healthy off-topic area, nothing useful was being discussed and it really impactedd my enjoyment of LS1.com. quite a shame.

My NIC on the other forum was Insomniac.

I remember Adam and the initial thread where Dave Inall introduced himself.

I have been off the boards (not posting anyways) for 2-3 years until a few months ago.

Nice to see that alot of the interesting people from 1999-2000 are still around!

Bought mine in February. Car is a black Hardtop with most of the bolt ons LTs, Catback, blackwing etc etc.

You should sell that TA next year and get a C5. The C5s should be nice and cheap with the C6 coming out.

I'm surpised you would go for the TA and C5 over the M5....

*Note* Chris has since sold the M5, but hey I don't live there anymore aqnyways so actually I guess my garage now just consists of the TA and CBR.

Aren't they already? But when it comes to trading the TA in on a C5, ya can't beat Free and the TA is PAID OFF, Free and Clear!
