How do opened wastegates sound off boost?
Buy cutout and you will hear turbos spooling much better. Buy hard intake pipes also make spool louder.
You can also run gates dumped to atmosphere have it like that on my talon.It sounds like chainsaw I think when it opens up under boost.
You want more sound effects buy loud blow offs.
And if all that dont' do it for you just buy sound effects cds.

put a cut out on each side before tha WG point them back opposite of tha flow so you still feed tha turbo open tha cut outs when your cruisin ... you get tha sound you want and your gates do their normal job

You should hook up piping from the wastegate vent and hook it up to your heater/air conditioning vents and roll the windows up so you can hear everything better!

How exactly is it that you intend to have the wastegate open all the time? No spring? If so, you will need CO2 and a boost controller in order to get it to close. It will sound like an exhaust leak at the collector of an NA car.
If you want something that sounds "cool" at idle with some whistling sounds and some pulsing, perhaps you should get a blower and get it surging real good during idle. Improper fueling and/or timing will get you there.

Your the turbo guy and he's the nitrous guy lol. You guys got some different ideas. If you want something that stands out and makes noise I've got a suggestion for you on the cheap. Just run your pads then and let the brakes squawl. That always gets everyone's attention.
