Turbo setup questions
Turbo setup questions Ok so this is my plan tell me your thoughts opinions etc...
stock bottm end ls1
set of 317 heads
ky turbokit with 76 trim turbo
custom cam
ls6 intake manifold
So pretty much a ky turbo kit on a completely stock motor
only going to run about 6-8 pounds hopeing for 450whp or more
it will be abcked by a fresh rebuilt 4l60 with big tranny cooler and stock 10 bolt
My goal is to see what it can do and when the rear end fails get a 9 inch then wait for the tranny to go and swap to a 4l80..
I dont want to change the heads etc to something better right now jsut wanted to get your thoguhts on how well this will perform and any other misc upgrades like fuel etc that will be needed... Or tell me if you ahve a close setup and what worked better for you

yea 60 lbs, minimum of a walbro and a boost-a-pump. i think ull b at 500rwhp+ like josh said with that setup. oh and id buy hardened pushrods and springs while you are swapping the heads. gonna be a fun car!!
Sorry for all the questions lol but I did not see on your site do you offer the injectors seperate from your kits because you can get the kit without the injectors???
