Default Over reving my vortech?

Changed the pulley on my Vortech V-9 G Trim from 3.15 ( I think thats right ), to a 2.9" pulley. Went from making 6 lbs of boost to about 9-10. Is it possible to over rev the supercharger? Do I need to make the crank pulley bigger?

You can go smaller on the blower pulley. Mine has a 2.65". I think the max impeller speed of the V9 is 65,000rpm, but you can overrev it a little bit.

Default auto/manual?

As a previous owner of a vortech ,,LOL ,ide say it would probably lean more to wheather its a stick or auto tranny in your ride? As i know, over reving with a stick could overspin it possibly ,where as with a auto is HIGHLY unlikely and the main reason i got rid of mine was for lack of boost in the higher gears of my 6 speed manual .I had full 15psi in first then down to 12 in secound then 9psi in third LOL(So on and so forth )as its driven off of engine RPM's So unless your red lineing in every gear i think its unlikely! Where as with my twin turbo APS i now have,I have full boost in every gear now Its night and day
