There's argument for both sides...closer to the turbo, before the intercooler with give you faster response and potentially safer on the turbo. After the intercooler, closer to the TB will give you less lag because the intercooler will still be pressurized. I'm going right after the turbo, personally.

Cool looking project. What are the details on the frame and fron suspension components? Is that a 2001 silverado frame? What upper a-arms and mounts are those? Is it me or is that stuff not stock?

I'm building this truck from the ground up. I built the frame from the firewall back out of square tubing and only used the front clip of the original frame. I built a set of upper a arms and modified a set of lower a arms to narrow the front track width. I'm using a set of corvette spindles up front for the 5 lug bolt pattern and to shave some weight. The truck is going to be bagged and bodydroped. I relocated the upper a arms on top of the frame so that there will be no camber thru out the complete suspension travel. I narrowed a ford 9" for the rear just need to finish up the 4 link. Heres some more progress pics of my truck.

Building my bed mounts

The rear wheels are 15x14 weld pro stars on 33x10.5 mt and the fronts are 20x8.5 weld pro stars as well.

heres the mod I did to the lower control arms. I wanted to narrow the front track width 1.5" from each side. I had my friend machine me some bushings for a set of press in ball joints. Measured and cut out what I needed from the lower control arms and welded these bushings in. Came out pretty good.

VERY NICE!!! What do you have for a CNC plasma table? I recently just bought a plasma and would like to find some kind of table so I could use it for cutting brackets like that.
