Too much lag and only 5psi of boost! Please help!!!
ive changed a/r housing on my rearmount, like night and day difference keep reducing it till u hit what you feel is good for you.i hit 7lbs boost off the line with a 6spd.

I have a new converter on order.
The answer for me was a combination of things. First was getting away from the 4L60 and going to the 4L80. The 80 is much stronger (so I do not fear making boost on the line) and it has a better 1st gear for loading the turbo. Second was going to the transbrake were I can go WOT and load the engine 100%. Third was getting the stall speed in the sweet spot for my combo. I also put a two step on it but I am not using it right now. I am going to the track this weekend (if everything works out right) and I will start to play with it and see how much more boost I can make under the TBrake with the 2 step. I also have an electronic boost controler now that I still need to put on. I hope to have it on before this weekend so I will have the ability to set my max launch psi with it, and also have the ability to set my make boost off the Tbrake. I am hoping the 2 step will not only help me make more boost, but also make it build boost faster while on the TBrake, and then set up the boost controller for max boost while still having good traction, and make whatever boost goal I have while running threw the quarter.
