Default HIGH Boost Head comparison

so im looking into swapping heads.
my setup is stock cubes forged
1/2 head studs
and as cast dart 225 heads with some bowl work
9:5:1 compression
single plain intake

i am currently pushing 27lbs of boost on my ecs paxton novi kit.
on my last tune on the street it looks like the car busted the HG.
i am highly considering purchasing some new heads from TEA and getting them oring.

these are my choices TFS 220 (as cast), TFS 225 cnc'd, AFR 225 cnc"d
im am leaning towards the as cast version for the price but i am curious if getting the cnc'd version is worth it? and how would you guys rate the heads and recommend on my high boost setup?
not sure what other engine info you need so ask and you shall recieve

I'm running AFR 225's on my stock cubed forged setup. I've ran 23psi thru them and no issues at all. This is with a F1C procharger setup. The TFS 225 (cnc'd) are bad a$$ heads as well. Are you running racefuel with that kind of boost?

If you want to run a ton of power you need:
1/2" head studs
Thick deck heads
Custom double o-ring headgasket setup from VA Speed.

We have killed Cylinder Liners, Pistons and a head but no head gasket. The calculator says we're making 2120hp to 2285hp but with the way we apply power it may be more(power is not in until 330' in the run). We've got more left in the tank I can tell you that.

I would use the TFS head, and buy it in a 6 bolt style in case you ever upgrade the block in the future.

to do that i would need to get 245 and up...?

my main thing was to either go with the TFS 220 As Cast or the TFS 225 cnc'd but would it be worth it and a boosted engine...?

How long were you running 27psi for? I'm pretty impressed with the darts holding up to that. What kind of power are you making?

You could always have you dart heads ported you would save some money sense you already have the castings.

Just curious what you had done to the bowls? Did they open them up to lower your compression?

So what did you end up doing, or have you even decided yet?
