if it wase'nt for the parts wait it would have been done already... but since we were waiting on parts we focused on a vette that came in.... 25.2/25.3 cage, firewall, floors, retinned the back of it... ect... that car is done and it got here the same time as chris's....

chris's car will be done shortly..atleast on our end...

couple pics of the vette since this thread just got hijacked by import guys(i'm an import guy at heart..lol.. I miss my supra)

More updates. Rearend is back under the car after being narrowed up, and fitted with Strange 40 spline axles.
Champion double beadlock rears, and matching fronts with Mickey Thompson 315-60-15 Drag Radials in the rear.

Looks sick with the rear tucked up like that! Is it going to sit that low when it's done?

That is about as high as the tire will fit into the wheel well. The mini tub gains clearance on the back of the wheel well, but where the stock wheel well that is left in there meets to the quarter panel, it slopes down a bit and limits tire tuck. If I were to do it again, I wouldn't screw around with mini tubs, and do full carbon fiber tubs butted up to the quarter panel.

I guess the full tub is the answer if you have to fit such a large tire

Which gears you got out back? 25s 40s or 50s?

I still got to narrow it down with Shawn. We were talking in the 50 range.

I was saying that instead of screwing with the mini tub. Either don't tub at all or do a full tub.

you can't even get nearly that type of a tuck with an OEM tub...a minitub makes for a lot of extra room...yes, it still has limitations...but its alot more straight forward to install compared to a full tub.

50s are where its at. If you already have a big pinion go 40s.

Yeah it is a big pinion. I got 3.0's in there now. Ultra Case.
