Why specifically did you pick C16 over Q16 or C23?

7's will be kids play with this setup-Chris's engine is better than Phil's,so the power will be there-it's just a matter of getting it to the track

Cool build. Did the block have a cracked sleeve or something?I know the metal is better on the c5r but i cant for the life of me figure out why you would pay that kind of cash for a c5r to sleeve it. Shawn not like the RHS block? Hell you could buy on of them to modify and got out cheaper. What is the new ls9 alloy? Is it close to the c5r stuff?

Chris got an amazing deal on the c5r block-it already had the 6 bolt conversion and the sleeves in.If i was starting from scratch i would use either one of my forced inducted blocks or the RHS block

Got the car sitting on the scales right now. No engine, trans, driveshaft, hood, bumper, fuel system, piping etc.
It does have the water tank, intercooler, turbo, battery, seat, cage etc... installed.
Came in at 2147 lbs.
I think I will be able to make it under 3200 lbs race weight.

7.20's -no problem
7teens-doable
7.0's-possible but will have to work at it
6.90's-depends on the final weight of the car-will have the power ,but we'll have to pull out all the stops
